FAQ
Practical answers before you bring in equipment.
What equipment do you repair?
Vintage receivers, amplifiers, preamplifiers, selected turntables and tape gear, and some instrument amplifiers. See the Equipment page for details.
Do you provide free estimates?
We provide intake guidance first. Bench evaluation and diagnostic fees are explained before major work begins.
How long will my repair take?
Turnaround varies by condition, parts, and queue. We provide an estimated range, not a guaranteed completion date.
Do you replace every capacitor during restoration?
No. Work is planned per unit based on measurements, known failure points, and your goals.
Can I ship equipment to you?
Yes, depending on equipment type and packaging risk. Contact us before shipping for intake instructions.
What if my equipment cannot be repaired?
You will receive findings and practical options, including return or limited stabilization paths where possible.
Do repairs include a warranty?
Warranty terms are provided in writing with completed work and are scoped to the services performed.
Should I power on old equipment from storage?
Not always. Long-stored equipment may need controlled evaluation first to avoid avoidable damage.
